I was a 3-time World Champion.
And I basically had one kick.

It was facing the back — because I couldn't do them properly.

I was told: "You just can't do kicks." So I believed it. Nobody ever explained why. Nobody looked at what was actually going on in my body. So I did what most dancers do. I accepted it, worked around it, and quietly filed it away under "things that are just not for me."

"That story wasn't true. I just didn't understand my body yet."

A few years ago I started properly understanding what was going on. My lower back was tight. My hamstrings weren't strong enough. My posterior chain was locked. None of it had anything to do with talent, effort, or how hard I'd trained.

Now, at 34 years old, I can kick higher than I could at 16. Not because I trained harder. Because I finally understood my why.

Open the app and tap Sign Up. Enter your name, email address and a password. Tap the Sign Up button and you're in. Already have an account? Just tap Log In instead.

A few things dancers and parents ask us

Do I need to be a certain level to join?
No. This challenge is built for competitive Irish dancers of any level. If you've been told to improve your kicks, this is for you.
What if I can't make the live session each day?
No problem at all. Every session goes live on the MWM Instagram at 5PM UK time — and the recording is posted straight afterwards. You can work through it in your own time and still upload your daily pictures to the Free Members Club to stay in the running.
What do I need to take part?
Just yourself and a small space to move. Follow @movewithmeg_ on Instagram for the daily lives, then download the MWM App and join the Free Members Club to upload your progress and enter the giveaway.
Do I have to do all 5 days to enter the giveaway?
Yes. You need to upload your daily kick pictures into the Free Members Club for all 5 days, and post your Day 1 vs Day 5 comparison at the end. Consistency is what makes the results real — and that's what earns the entry.
What if I don't see a big improvement in 5 days?
That's okay. The goal of this challenge isn't overnight transformation — it's understanding. Once you know your why, you know exactly what to keep working on. That's where lasting improvement comes from.
Is this trying to sell me a membership?
The challenge is genuinely free. After the 5 days, if you want to go deeper, the MWM Gold Club and 1-1 coaching are there. But there's no pressure and no obligation. Just come and experience the week.
